2.0.0 unsigned desktop builds · October 20, 2026

Downloadable desktop packages include Node, yt-dlp, ffmpeg and ffprobe. Available platforms appear on the downloads page after native engine and packaged-app tests pass. These builds are unsigned; operating systems may warn about or block them. The download page provides exact checksums and validation details.

Ubuntu 24.04 x64 packages

DEB and AppImage packages passed 208 automated tests, sandboxed renderer startup, and packaged media-processing checks on the Ubuntu VPS. The DEB was installed and removed successfully. AppImage testing passed both extracted execution and normal FUSE mounting. Full clean desktop installation and browser certification remain pending.

Desktop workflows

Independent distribution work: shared runtime contracts, desktop job persistence, a tray download manager, extraction integration, per-origin session connection, extension library, and release tooling.

Validation status

Unsigned desktop downloads are available for platforms listed on the downloads page. Full clean-machine installation checks, browser certification, authorized real-world media tests, and benchmark results remain pending. Capability descriptions describe implemented workflows under evaluation; they are not universal compatibility guarantees.
